Roasted Pears

I had some ripe pears at home and wanted to try roasting them. Have not used the oven yet, so roasted them in the skillet on the gas stove instead. They are yumm with honey and some icecream!

Ripe Pears: 2

Honey: to drizzle over – about a teaspoon

  1. Peel and cut the pears into about 8 wedges per pear.
  2. Heat a skillet/griddle (tawa). When well heated, reduce the heat to low.
  3. Place the pear wedges and roast them.
  4. Cook both sides till they are lightly browned. Turn off the heat and let them rest for a minute.
  5. Transfer to a plate. Drizzle honey over and enjoy! You can even pair this with some icecream … That’s one yummmmy dessert!!
