Fruit Salad with Icecream

During the hot summers, most of us like to eat both fruits as well as icecream. This is a quick and yummy preparation to enjoy both in one bowl. Also, we tend to feel satisfied with lesser icecream and more fruits 😀 … So heathier with taste. Satisfies the dessert cravings well …

Fruits of your choice: 2 cups (I used pineapple, oranges, and grapes this time; bananas, apples, strawberrys, mangoes you can use whatever is available)

Sugar/Honey: to your taste (optional)

Icecream scoops: 2 (Flavor of your choice – I used triple chocolate – even vanilla tastes yumm)

  1. Chop the fruits to small bite-sized pieces. I even chopped the grapes into 4 pieces each.

  3. Assemble in a bowl and mix the fruits to distribute evenly.
  4. For serving, take half the fruits in a bowl.
  5. Drizzle with honey or sprinkle sugar to your taste. We skip this step quite often to avoid extra calories.
  6. Add a scoop or two of icecream over it and garnish with a wedge of fruit or a grape/cherry. Enjoy immediately.
