Crispy-Spicy Potato Slices

These potato slices taste like fried potato slices/wedges within Indian style masala – however, they have very little oil! Enjoy the taste of these crispy slices without the extra oil. You can also try varying the spices as per your taste.

You can enjoy it as a side dish with rotis/rice or by itself as a snack.

  3. Heat about 3 cups of water in a large vessel and let it come to a boil.
  4. Add ¼ teaspoon salt and a pinch of red chilly powder and turmeric powder to the water.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium and add the potato slices to the water.
  6. Cook on low-medium heat for about 4-5 minutes – the potatoes should not be completely done as they will tend to crumble otherwise.
  7. Drain the water in a colander.
