Alu Gobhi (Potatoes and Cauliflower Curry)

One of our fav subjis here at home. I love both potatoes and cauliflower, so this one is zimply yumm. This is the dry vegetable (without gravy) – a typical north-indian dish … Goes well with rotis as well as rice. I like to have it with even curd-rice (thair chadam) – that’s a nice combi of north-indian and south-indian food 😀 …

This is a very common dish with numerous variations. The one we make at home uses cauliflower, potatoes, and tomatoes (if available) – but no onions or garlic. Here’s that version. You can view the recipe here.
