Recipes for the Roti Mela
For the Roti Mela hosted by Srivalli, I am sending out entries of new paratha/roti recipes that I try out.
Parathas are stuffed flatbreads – Indian style. The ones I make are mostly the ones in which we stuff whole-wheat dough balls with stuffing (veggies, lentils etc) and roll them out as a flatbread/torilla and cook on a griddle. Other roti/paratha varieties I am yet to try and post are ones where the stuffing ingredients are just mixed in the dough and rolled out.

Most of these recipes I have on the blog are savory – the only sweet one is the puran poli
– Will be updating this post through the month as I add any more entries for the mela.
My new entries for the Roti Mela include:
Moong Dal Paratha

Also, my existing paratha recipes are additional entries to her mela
– so that many more people can access the recipes and try them out!
Onion Stir-Fry Paratha (Onion Flatbread – Indian)

Puran Poli/Boli (Sweet Flatbread – Indian)
